Our colors are sage green, mustard yellow, and chocolate brown.

table decor & centerpieces

Half of our tables are going to have vintage-looking birdcages with flowers. The other half will be stacks of books and other knick-knacks. We are going for a rustic but still modern vibe. Here are some inspiration pictures for the table decor. We will use ivory tablecloths and green napkins with a paisley patterned runner.
Centerpiece #1 : birdcages with flowers
Here is our inspiration picture, followed by the actual birdcages we are using.

Centerpiece #2 : old books with other knick knacks
Each of the 4 tables will have a "theme":
travel (travel/geography books, globe, camera)
kitchen (old cookbooks, pitcher, cookie cutters)
mystery novels (old Nancy Drew books, magnifying glass)
Bibles (with a cool vase on top)

Table Numbers: a very easy DIY project using a Cricut and scrapbook paper!

Napkins: This is a sample of how our napkins will look (idea inspired by Martha Stewart Weddings). The napkins are in tea green from linentablecloth.com, with brown paper strips, ivory lace, and brown buttons from woodbuttons.com.

Our venue has dark brown chiavari chairs, as pictured below.

escort cards

I got this idea from Martha Stewart Weddings. Our escort cards will be styled after the photo below. It will be propped up on an easel and we will use the same fabric as our table runners. The envelopes have each guests name on the outside with their table number inside. This makes it super easy to make last minute changes, too.

favors
I found this old cubby at an antique store. It's the perfect size for our favors of personalized M&Ms! This will be placed on the guestbook table near the entrance.
